My name is Simone, or Miss Franco to most, and I am a 21 year old Bachelor of Primary Education student at ACU National. I am currently in my final year, or more specifically, final semester of my course and I am eagerly awaiting graduation. In the meantime, I work casually for three schools: St Peter Chanel, Regents Park; St Mary’s Queen of Heaven, Georges Hall and St Francis Xavier, Ashbury. I have worked with a range of students from many varying cultures and backgrounds and am enjoying learning from them as much as they, hopefully, enjoy learning from me. Children can be the most amazing teachers!
When I’m not teaching or studying, I love to dance and sing (I was a member of the Santa Sabina College Choir and the ACU theatre group, Thespians On The Mount). I am obsessed with almost all genres of music, particularly metal, indie and French pop. I like to call it ‘musical schizophrenia’. My hobbies include collecting CD’s and DVD’s, checking out bands with friends or supporting my friends’ bands and, like most girls, I absolutely love shopping. Most of all I love spending time with my family and my boyfriend Chris.
